About Us

Our mission is to glorify God through the provision of medical care, including spiritual and social support, to underserved adults in Haywood County.

The Good Samaritan Clinic of Haywood County exists as a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing healthcare to adults ages 18-64, who are uninsured and underserved in Haywood County. In June 2009 GSC was forced to cut services 40% for three months in our Waynesville location due to financial constraints and our inability to pay expenses. For this reason we feel that an extraordinary hardship grant is necessary to preserve existing access to primary care through our clinic in Haywood County. GSC provides access where gaps exist in the health care system.
