The Good Samaritan Clinic and Mountaintop Healthcare are two nonprofit clinics working together to identify unmet healthcare needs in our community. The combination of these two clinics has given us the opportunity to offer new programs to assist many people in Haywood County.

In 2008, GSC entered into a contractual agreement with another nonprofit, Mountaintop Healthcare. This agreement allows GSC to provide access to primary healthcare to Medicaid patients and continue to work as a “free medical clinic” in Haywood County.

Mountaintop Healthcare provides the staffing to care for the medical care of these patients and provides additional programs based on community need.
